This is a new image of the Carina Nebula, which has been put together (it’s actually a collage) by Thomas Preibisch, who works at the University Observatory Munich
This incredible picture makes me think of the 19th Psalm. The Psalms is a collection of poetry in the Old Testament of The Bible, credited to King David of Israel. David writes in this chapter that… “How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory! How plainly it shows what he has done!”
I can’t help but believe that there is a benevolent power behind all this work, and the creation of humanity. Science helps me to understand this, and this picture does nothing to swerve me from that belief.
